Asking him to send reserved places to Jules Lecomte, Fiorentino, Janin, Meyerbeer, Gathy (and others), saying there will be a rehearsal of the chorus for the Requiem the next day--it is indispensable since the singers are far from knowing their parts--, adding that it is indeed sad that this work, so admirably performed three times en province (in Lille), should still be more or less disfigured ("écorché") in Paris, etc.
